Fanadu Released

It is only so often that an innovation comes along packing the power and promise to start a new craze. The Tampa based software firm responsible for one of the most popular, highly acclaimed website builders, Web Piston, has developed another cutting edge system. Fanadu, will change the way fans interact during their favorite events.

Fanadu is a MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) that will allow fans to take pictures, at a football game for example, using their camera phone and send it via email to their teams Fanadu website, where they get posted in real-time. However, Fanadu does not only stick to camera phone photographs. People using their digital cameras can send pictures to Fanadu.com via email as well. Or if they want, people can upload their photos directly to the Fanadu website.

The purpose of Fanadu.com is to bring communities together, allowing them to share their experiences with other fans. When people visit the Fanadu website, they can vote on the pictures, such as best fan outfit, cutest baby fan, best party and so forth. Moreover, the fans unable to attend an event can check out the pictures and comments on Fanadu as they come in, gaining a sense of the atmosphere.

Fanadu.com is dedicated to housing the memories people would like to share and remember from their favorite events. The service is free of charge and will be available for numerous event types, such as concerts, soccer, hockey, baseball, nascar and many more. However, Fanadu is not limited to the actual event, some of the best pictures come from people gathering at their local sports bar and getting all hyped up about the game.

Fanadu is proud to support their home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and give their local community something to have fun with. During the first home game, Fanadu employees joined their fellow Bucs fans before the season opener. For its official launch, Fanadu employees walked around the stadium with some specials guests, taking pictures of the fans and tailgate parties, which can now be seen at http://www.fanadu.com/.

There are designated areas on the Fanadu website for each individual team as well as each different event
