Web Piston Version 8 Released

Web Piston just released the latest version of their Site Builder. Web Piston 8 comes equipped with more cutting edge features and more added value. Version 8 is outfitted with new tools such as: Calendar Assistant, Portfolio Assistant, Build Your Own Page Assistant & the ability to add media files. With every new release and pervasive new abilities, the Web Piston site builder is becoming a nightmare for Web Design companies around the world because it allows recreational computer users to develop truly professional, fully functional web sites on their own.

The Calendar Assistant is a flash based interface that will help Web Piston users create a monthly or yearly calendar to post on their web site. Web Piston users can enter in descriptions for specific events/dates, keeping interested parties informed. Once the calendar is published, those visiting the web site can click on the highlighted dates and find the event details. Individuals can also request more information regarding the event and RSVP directly through the site.

The Portfolio Assistant allows Web Piston users to upload images and create slide shows with accompanying text. This tool is ideal for things like, showing previous projects/jobs, chronicling a vacation or showcasing premium products.

The Build A Page Assistant, allows Web Piston users to add additional pages to their web site, formatting them how they see fit. This Web Piston assistant helps users build a web page full of features including, photo albums, media downloads, and content paragraphs, using their patent pending content console.

Another great new feature included in Web Piston version 8 is the Media/File sharing capability. Users will now be able place files (Documents, Video, Music…) on their web site which in turn can be downloaded by their visitors.
